Approval for housing in Godstone, Surrey

by colin

Full planning permission has been granted for 21 new homes on a former garden centre site in Godstone, Surrey for Thakeham Homes. The site lies in the Greenbelt and a previous scheme had been refused.

Working closely with the Council, the Parish Council and the client team we prepared a revised application which addressed all of the requirements of the planning and green belt policies of the local plan and provided a high quality scheme of housing, landscape and open space for the village. The proposals will provide a much needed requirement for affordable housing in the area.

We are delighted with the outcome of the project and look forward to seeing it being brought forward with the high standards of construction and finish which Thakeham achieve on their developments.
