New housing in Bramley, Hampshire

by colin

An outline planning application for up to 50 new homes has been submitted to Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council on behalf of Gleeson Developments Ltd. The scheme, on land north of Sherfield Road includes a range of housing types including a number of affordable units, a large amount of informal public open space and a children’s play area.

The proposals have been prepared over the last year alongside landscape architects, ecologists and highway engineers the scheme to minimise the impact on the landscape and enhance the character of the local area. The design approach and number of units accords with the emerging Bramley Neighourhood Development Plan.
